Be Yourself: Baby Kitten
No filter tells the whole truth. This shoot is about the parts that do — ink, curves, freckles, softness and all.

There’s a version of beauty that only exists after an app has been through it. Smoothed, stretched, lightened, tucked. We’re not interested in that version. This month’s Be Yourself feature is built around the parts most retouchers are paid to erase: tattoos, curves, real skin, real softness. Baby Kitten brought all of it, and the camera loved every inch.
The Be Yourself campaign is Cat House’s answer to a beauty standard that keeps shrinking. Every set in this series is shot with one rule: nothing gets erased. The rose and sunflower ink climbing Baby Kitten’s thigh stays exactly where she put it. So does every curve, every line, every bit of her that a lesser magazine might have airbrushed into something else.
A Room With a View, and Nowhere to Hide
The first set was shot floors above a glowing city grid, golden hour turning the glass tower across the way into a wall of amber light. Baby Kitten knelt at the window in black lace, one hand pressed against the glass, tattoo on full display. It’s a striking, unguarded pose: nothing between her and the skyline except a pane of glass.

The second set traded the skyline for a hotel suite, all cream linens and warm lamplight. Baby Kitten curled up on the bed in pink lace, arms wrapped around a pillow, hair loose, grin unguarded. It’s the kind of image that isn’t trying to be anything except comfortable in its own skin, which is exactly the point of the campaign.
What “Be Yourself” Actually Means Here
It’s easy to print a slogan. It’s harder to build a business around it. So here’s what the phrase means at Cat House: no mandatory retouching, no pressure to hide ink or stretch marks or scars, and no single body type held up as the standard everyone else is measured against. Baby Kitten’s shoot ran exactly like every other cover shoot on our roster, because that’s the whole idea. Nobody should need a special exception to be shown as they are.
How Your Subscription Helps Fund Shoots Like This
Every set you see in this campaign, the flights, the suites, the photographers, the editing hours, is paid for the same way: member subscriptions. When you subscribe to Cat House Meow, here’s where it goes:
- The Curious Cat, The Wild One, and The Apex Predator membership tiers directly fund production budgets for shoots like Baby Kitten’s, from location and styling to travel.
- On cathousemeow.com, revenue from shoots is split 50/50 with the model, so subscribing puts money directly in the pockets of the women you’re watching.
- A portion of company proceeds also flows to The Cat House Foundation, our philanthropic arm, keeping the brand’s “pleasure with purpose” promise more than a slogan.
In short: every subscription is a vote for more shoots exactly like this one, unfiltered, unretouched, and paying the model fairly for her work.
The Verdict
Two rooms, two moods, one message: real is the whole point. Baby Kitten gave us a set that’s warm, confident, and entirely her own, ink and all.
A Note from The Cat House Foundation
Be Yourself isn’t only a photo campaign. It’s a reminder that confidence looks different on everybody, and that difference is worth celebrating, not editing out.
